Narito naman ang official statement ni Reese tungkol sa issue.

“Regarding the bashing of some Aldub fans, I respect and understand how they feel. I would like to let them know that the project with Alden was something I did not expect.

“However, it was a very good opportunity for me to learn and hone my skill as an actress. It was plainly just for work, nothing personal to it.

“On the other hand, I would like to thank everyone who showed support and kindness. Thank you.”
